Our terms and conditions outline the policies and procedures we have established for the smooth operation of bookings, providing useful information and guarantees for the consumer.

The terms and conditions contained in this document apply to the relationship between the potential Customer, and the owner of Quinta da Estima, from the time of the reservation request until the end of the period of stay, after verification of the condition of the house by the management of Quinta da Estima..

For situations not foreseen in the Terms and Conditions, the applicable law shall apply.



Bookings can be made by telephone, email or through our website, as well as using booking platforms. Bookings by phone, email, website and other booking means are subject to availability.

Unless otherwise specified, the minimum stay is two nights, except during Christmas and New Year’s Eve when it will be three nights, and during the months of July and August when it will be also three nights.



The reservations are guaranteed upon advance payment of the total amount of the stay, by bank transfer or cash, and after receipt of proof of payment to be sent to the email geral@quintadaestima.com.

Following the booking confirmation, guests will receive an e-mail with their confirmation and the House&Farm Manual, which explains the conditions of use of Quinta da Estima.



Cancellation of the booking is subject to the following conditions:

  • To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking and cancellation must occur at least 14 days prior to check-in.
  • If canceled between 7 to 14 days before check-in, guests will receive 50% of the amount of all nights.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before check-in, will not be subject to any refund.

It is recommended that the Client obtains travel insurance to cover unforeseen events that may cause the cancellation of the booking.



The accommodation is available from 3pm on the date of arrival. On the date of departure, the customer must leave the accommodation unoccupied of people and personal belongings, and free of any damage, by 11 am. The electronic permissions (eKeys) for using the accommodation will be automatically deactivated at the end of the stay.



  • Only the number of people indicated in the reservation will have the right to use the accommodation. The temporary stay of visitors to our guests must have the prior consent of the management of Quinta da Estima.
  • The Renter and accompanying person(s), if applicable, must treat other guests with consideration and respect.
  • Customers’ vehicles must be parked in the designated areas.
  • All damages, malfunctions and thefts associated to the Customer will be charged, being the Customer responsible for the payment of a fee corresponding to the value of the respective replacement/repair.
  • Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult guest at all times during their stay, and Quinta da Estima is not responsible for any accidents.
  • Quinta da Estima will not be responsible for the personal belongings of guests. The Guest must always close the access door to their accommodation, as well as the main door and gate.
  • In case of emergency, the Customer should call the contacts provided in the Regulations in the accommodation.



Animals are not allowed in the house of Quinta da Estima. The introduction, by the Customer, of animals in the accommodation, allows Quinta da Estima to inform the Customer of the obligation to leave, without refund of the amounts already paid.



As a matter of respect and understanding towards the other Customers, as well as neighbors, we ask for special attention so that activities that may cause noise that may disturb the people in question are minimised, between 10 pm and 8 am.

If the behavior of the Guest or any of the members of the group during the stay is deemed inappropriate and likely to cause danger or disturbance to other guests or neighbouring properties, Quinta da Estima reserves the right to immediately cancel the booking. In such situations, there will be no compensation or refund. Quinta da Estima also reserves the right to cancel future reservations of the same client.



Quinta da Estima, or another element designated by it, has the right to enter the accommodation during the Renter’s stay in order to carry out cleaning works (if necessary or at the Renter’s request), repairs or other necessary works. The Renter will always be informed of the date and time when any external element enters.

The same applies with entry to the farm for unpostponable agricultural work.



The price of the stay to be paid by the Client constitutes the consideration for the use of the house and enjoyment of the farm, in the period between arrival and departure. The total price of the stay will be charged per night, regardless of whether or not the Renter has actually used the accommodation.

The applicable rates will be the agreed prices or the prices established in the price list of the chosen accommodation, in force on the date of the booking request. Quinta da Estima reserves the right to update prices, being given timely information to customers.

The rates and amounts indicated for the stay include VAT at the legal rate in force, unless expressly provided otherwise.

Quinta da Estima makes available, on its website, information and promotions that are in progress.



The prepayment of the total amount of the stay, should be made by bank transfer or cash, to guarantee the reservation. The respective proof of payment should be sent to the email geral@quintadaestima.com.



Quinta da Estima has a complaints book. Complaints can also be made through the website www.quintadaestima.com. Complaints will only be considered those that are likely to put into question the level of service and quality of the accommodation.



It is the responsibility of Quinta da Estima to ensure the adequate conditions of hygiene, cleanliness and safety of the Customers.

Quinta da Estima will not be responsible for the personal belongings of the Clients that may disappear within its premises. Neither does it assume any responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in case of electronic transmission of payment data. And will not be liable to the Customer in case of delay in providing the accommodation if there is a reason of force majeure. Force majeure shall be considered reasons that make it impossible or difficult to provide the accommodation, such as strikes, lockouts, natural disasters, or accidents in the accommodation itself.



In the event of theft, damage to property, fire, flooding or other damage to the accommodation, the Customer must immediately inform the management and co-operate in resolving the situation in question.



The management entity has the right to terminate the stay if the Guest presents any behaviour that affects good coexistence, peace and quiet or hygiene.
