Data collection and processing

The Personal Data collected and processed consists of information regarding name, e-mail address, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number, credit card information, and identification document number.

Quinta da Estima is responsible for the processing of your personal data, used within the scope of its local accommodation activity, ensuring the confidentiality and security of the data processed.

Purposes

When booking, data is collected, processed and stored for billing purposes and booking of rooms or the house, or other complementary services, and for historical, statistical and service quality control purposes, as well as our own advertising campaigns.

In the case of non-Portuguese citizens, the collection of this data constitutes a legal obligation in accordance with Law No. 18/2022 of 25 August, mandatory communication to the Foreigners and Borders Service, without which the booking process cannot be formalized. They may also be used for marketing purposes or to advertise our products and services to our customers, via email, SMS, or telephone call.

The Customer shall have the right to object at any time to the use of personal data for advertising purposes and must inform the management entity.

Rights

You may exercise at any time the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data. To this end, you can direct your request to the email geral@quintadaestima.com or by letter to Quinta da Estima, Rua dos Milagres, 12, Folgorosa. 2565-171 Dois Portos. The subsequent withdrawal of consent does not compromise the legality of the processing carried out on the date of the withdrawal. The data subject may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados. After consent is given for the processing of your personal data, Quinta da Estima will keep the personal data until the end of the purposes for which they are intended. Taking into account the possibility of making future reservations, the data will be kept until requested deletion as described.
